This year the festival website features an AJAX updating messageboard and a nice fixed position background image.

This site is a simple reskin of the previous incarnation, but has now been integrated into WordPress to make updating the site easier for the guys at SYM.

The church was very bright and airy inside but didn't offer many good photography locations, so I took the groups shots at the reception venue, the Derby Conference Centre, which was just down the road.

This time it was the wedding of my good friends, Andy and Gemma, who were getting married at the Country Cottage Hotel in Ruddington. The venue was very quaint and homely and everybody involved had a great time.

The site uses an integrated Flickr gallery, image replacement for "fancy" font headings and a jQuery carousel on the homepage.

Here are a few of the shots I took, just looking forward to seeing which ones they use now!

The site uses some ver simple javascript to show and hide links when necessary, which I think gives it a less cluttered feel.

Vestatec, specialise in automotive engineering, with products like daytime running lights.

I'm never one to turn down a trip to the seaside, so I jumped at the opportunity! The wedding took place at the beautiful Treganna Castle which had amazing views of the sea and St Ives in the distance.

Unfortunately the weather didn't hold out as well as I would have hoped, but I did manage to find a cream-coloured umbrella!

I've just finished their "brochure style" website that gives visitors information about their products and an online point of contact... and they wanted it within two weeks!

Jack was awesome, as is his new album "Everything is New" and the support act, Theophilus London was crazy... in a good way.

I definitely didn't expect to get such good shots in the Butterfly House, but I was suprised and very impressed by this attraction.

The reception took place at Beverley Rugby Club where, I think, the best photos were taken round the back of the clubhouse, amongst the bins and empty gas tanks.

The festival's website uses some pretty cool functions, such as cycling images and a messageboard for participants.

Here are some of the photographs I have taken over the past two years, sales of which raise money for the charity.

This has been a challenging project for Chemistry, using a lot of .Net, jQuery and third party video hosting to come up with a final result which achieved over 50,000 hits on it's first day.

Using the colours of their logo as inspiration and some clever bits, like integrated Google Maps and images that automatically fill white space, I came up with the design that looks good and has challenged my development skills.

I'm currently in the process of redesigning our website.

Although not on the final website, the original designed featured a nice "decking" background, which gave the site real depth, but by far the best part of the design work I have carried out for this is the logo.

My Part: The Flash application uses .Net web services to read and write to a database.

The designs show product pages with social networking links, rider profiles with details of events they will be attending and an area to upload your videos and photos.

For an "amateur" company the quality of acting and production was excellent, so much so that I went back to sit in the audience for the Saturday performance.

Unfortunately we were hit with wet weather so couldn't take any outdoor photographs, but the indoor ones turned out quite well anyway.

Besides, the best shots were to come at the reception when the Groom and his band played a small set to get everyone dancing. Not to mention some members of High Peak Samba who turned up with their plethora of percussion to wake us all up.

We managed to visit the Guinness Storehouse, Dublin Castle, Christchurch Cathedral in the weekend as well as the pubs of Temple Bar which I found much more interesting. Here are a few shots I took in Ireland's capital.

Being my first attempt at the job I was quite nervous in the run up to the day, but having my Brother as "assistant" really helped me to overcome that, and I think my shots came out quite well.

The wedding venue was the Corus Hotel in Elstree, a Tudor-style building, full of character and set in 10 acres of natural woodland, so locations for shots weren't hard to come by.

The park had an abundance of species of wildlife set in some fantastic gardens, meaning photo opportunities were rife.

After many attempts I managed to get a decent photograph of a Squirrel Monkey which just didn't seem to want to sit still!

We stayed in a villa outside Portimão, which luckily had a pool, because the 36°C temperatures were often unbearable. Unfortunately with the villa being in the middle of nowhere, opportunities to whip out my trusty Canon were few and far between, but I managed a few, including quite an impressive one of the villa's chimney!

We stayed in an old Lock Keepers cottage on the Caledonian Canal, which left us within easy reach of Loch Ness, Inverness, Ben Nevis, Fort Augustus and Fort William.

On the way home I managed to snap some pictures at Fort George before the weather changed and we were caught in a spring snowstorm, which left the poor baby lambs feeling a bit nippy!

The site design is based around the Siemens guidelines and the whole site is built within a ASP-based CMS system, for which I have been responsible for the entire build.

Update: Siemens report that the site has generated £500,000

Of course, I took my camera with me and got some pretty good shots.

Although the darker design was chosen to be printed in Ride, I still prefer the lighter side of things!

The design is based on the current (2006) US catalogue.

The ads feature some pretty vivid colours, and some of Haro's team of riders, including Ryan Nyquist.

The first ad will be printed in Ride BMX magazine this month.

I've designed them based on the 2005 catalogue and they have been personalised and distributed to the top UK Schwinn dealers.
